That's why we are committed to crafting a skincare collection that is anchored in science, sustainability and wellness.
We understand that our customers are tired of the costly and overwhelming process of trying to find a skincare range that actually works for them and is aligned with their values.
We also know that the pressures on women to ‘age without ageing‘ are immense and incessant. But it's our belief that everyone has the right to age gracefully, secure in the knowledge that their skin is nourished and protected no matter what stage of life they are in.
So every day SIORA is working to create skincare solutions that empower individuals with confidence, in themselves, in their choices and in their unique journey towards a healthier, more meaningful life.
The Founder
Laia Canales-Cushing
With a comprehensive international background in the corporate world, founder and product developer Laia started her journey to creating skincare very organically when a soap-making book inspired her to begin experimenting with the process of creating products for herself and her family.
"I’ve always enjoyed investing in quality skincare products, but (like many of my customers) I found the process of discovering what ingredients went into them and how sustainably they were made confusing and a bit convoluted."
Born and raised in Madrid, Laia brings a sophisticated and effortless aesthetic to both the creation of SIORA's products and its branding.
"I think people forget that your skin is the largest organ in your body, it's important to take care of it!. My vision has always been a brand and a product range that allowed people to relax and feel comfortable knowing that they were doing the right thing for their skin as well as the environment with every purchase."
With a minimalist approach to each product release, Laia remains passionate about procuring and combining the highest quality ingredients and only providing the essential combinations.
"The last thing that people need right now is more complication, my goal is to give my customers exactly what they need for comprehensive skincare, no more, no less, just the essentials."
Our Product Philosophy
Much like people, we believe that value and beauty are generated from the inside out.
That's why with SIORA products you can expect much more than just a beautiful box and some trendy ingredients.
When we use words like efficacy and sustainability it's not to sound on-trend or important. We truly believe in the authentic and transparent process of piecing together unique and effective ingredients in a way that gives our community both results and peace of mind.
Much like nature none of our ingredients have come together at random, everything has its place and its essential reason.
Combining clinically proven New Zealand-grown bioactives and Mediterranean botanicals, our primary focus when constructing a product is twofold:
Simplicity - is this exactly what you need and nothing more?
Effectiveness - will this produce the desired result without doing long-term damage to either you or the environment?
By keeping things simple and small we ensure better quality control and accountability which leads to a great customer experience and a naturally effective product that contains less synthetic chemicals and preservatives.
Packaging ethos
Our packaging components are made of biodegradable materials or recyclable materials.
Our labels and packaging boxes are free of plastic, use uncoated paper and fully biodegradable inks.
Sustainability
At SIORA we actively seek innovative solutions to be genuinely sustainable and eco-friendly.
Our primary goal is to ensure that our products are sustainably produced using organic, natural and naturally derived ingredients that undergo minimal processing, are additive free and are scientifically validated to deliver the highest quality results.
Our current environmental priorities include:

- Measuring and reducing our operational emissions and offsetting those that cannot be avoided

Accordingly, all ingredients utilised in SIORA's formulations are extensively researched with respect to their safety, stability, sustainability profile and efficacy.
